Hi Jorgen,
have a manual for the driver coming from ebay so will look into it
properly when I have the information I need.
I'm sure a new SRD will be impossible to find :-( I may have to find
some other way to generate harmonics....it can't be that hard with 21st
century ICs.
Because of it hasn't to be a microwave SRD (as in the most other cases
of SRD-use) i think it is possible to substitute it with other types
of diodes which also "snap", but unwanted, or better said, not build
for to be a SRD. A BA244 Tuner Switching Diode will work well.
A few years ago i have "Measured" (Not a perfect measurement,
fast thrown together) a step with a slew that nearly matched the
rise time of the scope (Tek 2465B, 400MHZ) so that i think it will do
a nice job in there. if it is not available down under, i send
together with the Manual.
I have
the Manuals for those both units at our Ham-Radio
clubstation. I have to look there in the next days.
Is it possible to get a copy of the 5100A manual? All costs covered of
course...
I will take a look in our clubstation the next days for it,
i think it is possible.
