Hi,
I notice that you have two RF Sections for your 141T and so may be just
one IF Section. If so, here's what can happen and has done to me if I've
been swapping sections.
The D-shell connectors between RF and IF is a lousy fit and mounted on a
flimsy bracket. When the two meet they come together at an angle and
sometimes the shell of one gets caught up on the pins of the other
grounding them. Result - open fuses on switch-on; I kid you not!
Power surge it may have been but don't forget to see that the connectors
are seated fully when changing things around.
