I have acquired a HP8569B. It had a problem with the CRT X drive, after many hours it's now fixed. However the neg 40V psu then kept blowing its 40v fuse, ?the 2N6056 is was found to be ded on testing E-C short , i believe it was causing the over voltage protection to blow the fuse. I can't find a replacement for 2N6056 or a an equivalent to test any further, I was considering using a BDX69A i have similar but not equivalent.
?Has anyone found a suitable alternative to 2N6056.?
