Re: Shielded probe cables?

Yes, the connector on the chassis I believe is FCN-215Q060-G/0 (male).? And for completeness, the connector on the cable side is FCN-214J060-G/0 (female).
?
There are a couple of different flavors, such as straight and right angle for both.? Here is the datasheet:

However, after looking this morning I'm not seeing much availability.? Maybe you'll have better luck.? A possible source could also be salvage from a hopeless LA module.? There's no lack of these connectors out there that are installed on boards.? You might also be able to unsolder the connector from the cable and interface directly to the small PCB that's inside the shell.? Keith has some excellent photos and description of what's in the shell:

I don't think I would try unsoldering the ribbon itself to connect to your own adapter.? If you look at the photos, it's very fine work and was clearly done at the factory with special soldering equipment and jigs.? Plus this cable, like all the 40-pin cables, is lossy and has a very fine center conductor probably made of nichrome, which is difficult to solder.
?
Or just go with one of the cables that has the more common 2x20 on the end that connects to the 5032.

The connector on the chassis side I'm fairly certain is a Fujitsu FCN-215Q060-G/0, but I have not purchased it to verify.
You mean on the actual HP/Agilent/Keysight unit?

Thanks for all the pointers. I will check them out!
