Re: HP 6114A - looking for R8A, 15.82K 0.1% 1ppm resistor

I discovered them when looking for some top shelf resistors for a voltage reference (hobby metrology grade) based on the LTZ1000(A), where the lift-up to 10V relies on a very stiff pair of resistors setting the gain of an op amp. Internationally, excellent?resistors are a little easier to find (from my research), but this place in TX bests anything else anywhere.?
This was about one, maybe two years ago, and my head's still spinning a bit with the excitement?of the discovery. I can't really figure out how they can make such top spec parts in such small?runs and so affordably - other than that the etching is all automated and it doesn't really take a lot of of time or effort to pop out a Z201 from the machine - and why they're as willing to talk to the small guy as they are, but I do hope they stay in business while maintaining their model, and, to that end, I've presented them wherever I got a chance (as I assume serious hobbyists all the way to small tech firms may be a good part of their client base).?
