I spent some more time browsing digikey and an old HP catalog from 1980 that had their optoisolators in it.
The closest new parts I can find is hcpl-2530 or hcpl-2531 (7 vs 19% transfer ratio)
The original parts list just specified it as a opto transistor output If=50mA.
