This question is for a future project. The HP 3478A has an internal bus that is used to read data from an internal memory with battery backup. I'm interested in knowing when calibration data is read off the internal memory on startup. Are all banks read at startup or is calibration data read just when the instrument is switched to a particular mode and range?
