I am not sure what you mean with-EXT--???.The licenses are exactly the same keys as keysight uses!!—but as the sellers? I have recommended SAYS..it is licenses generated in-house by ex keysight engineers,so no keysight Lab will touch them.
Its important to look very close before buying-be sure it’s the right seller!!They have shown their responsibility-have repaired returned units and helped with after sales problems..And? yes the MXA with the possible options are great!
Just reporting in re the suitability of these rather cheap unit from CH. Yes they are (all?) upgraded units from an EXT? or possibly something else. The licences are all internally generated i.e. not official Keysight ones but do function perfectly normally. If you're thinking you might want to get one I'd say go for it! It can be difficult to communicate with CH because of the language barrier but I do a lot of business with CH and never had any problems. The units are a genuine bargain. Must thanks others on the forum for their help and advice.
