Definitely if you are in 240 VAC-land replace on sight.? 120 VAC-land -??
consider the possible collateral damage.? I've been burned (not literally, thank God) a couple times.? 8350B sweeper was a real pain to get to the RIFA cap, and in the process of disassembly and reassembly, the plug-in connectors shifted to where the mainframe doesn't recognize them. Grrrr.....? I opted not to attempt replacement in my other 8350B.? Even worse, in my 54120B scope I ended up blowing the primary power supply and bricking the scope (a very large (5U), if not that heavy, brick) after replacing a single RIFA cap!? OTOH, my 8566A spectrum analyzer was a breeze to replace the RIFA cap, and I replaced a whole bunch of them in an 8160A pulse generator and it still worked fine after.? Be warned!? HTH.? ? ? ? ? ?Jim Ford?

Rifa caps are not happy.

FTFY.

While a higher voltage makes a catastrophic short-circuit happen at a higher rate, it does happen in 120-V circuits as well.

Won¡¯t make a difference.? These things are going to explode.

Replace on sight.
