Thank you Patricio. That will be great if you can scan part of the troubleshooting manual. Additionally, If you can share block diagram of 83651B swept series synth would be great.
I have two questions:
1 - How do you run a self-test using front panel of HP8510C to get the trouble shooting code RF.XXX?
2- What is meant by SAF module (what does it stand for?)? By SRD do you mean a step recovery diode? Are these housed here on the 83651B (marked on image)? I am not sure whether if i should open this and look for a burned IC?

Secondly, I tested the power at the output of Aux output on the rear side of 83651B. At 4GHz, I see -30dBm. When i increase the frequency to 10GHz, I see -50dBm.
