¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi, ? Indeed, at power up, there is an alignment process for the 8562A: LO & IF. For the IF, it is possible to make an alignment on demand, complete or only based on the currently used setup. ? - Press the AMPLITUDE button - button, then MORE - IF ADJUST - then ADJ CURR IF STATE (partial alignment) or FULL IF ADJ ? If you want to redo the complete LO & IF alignment, press the PRESET button and the REALIGN LO & IF menu appears. ? ? Yves ? ? ? De?: [email protected] <[email protected]> De la part de Askild ? Hi, ? I have a HP 8562A that I was lucky to get for free, dumpster find. I have some comments, that might help deciding. The SA does some alignment at every power up. I guess it should be possible to start this from the menus, but I have not looked for it. You should know that this has a mechanical coax relay to switch between low band and the high bands. The low band go from? lowest frequency to 2,9GHz, the high band start at 2.75GHz to max frequency. So your sweep has to either be below 2.9GHz or above 2.75GHz. So, you can't sweep from 2GHz to 4GHz. Also the minimum RBW is 100Hz. Many newer SA's has RBW down to 10 and 1Hz. My 8562A only has a 10MHz TCXO reference. The OCXO was an option. If you use an external 10MHz referense (GPSDO), then the internal reference don't matter. ? I think there is only one option that is easy to install, and that is IF out. It just needs one capacitor and one connector installed on a board, then a cable to the back and a connector on the back. ? Good service manuals are available. I have the CLIP from Artek Manuals, recommended. ? Regards, Askild ? ? ? ? On Thu, Mar 10, 2022 at 9:53 AM RubenRubio <rubenrb2019@...> wrote:
