Hello all, this may be a stupid question but I just purchased a 53131a with 3GHz option and can¡¯t get a frequency to show up on input 1 or 2. Being new to this I¡¯m not sure if I have a setting wrong possibly as input 3 functions.?
I¡¯m feeding a 20MHz up to 200MHz 0.0dbm signal from my HP 8656A and the counter won¡¯t show anything on input 1 or 2. When I put signal to port 3 at 200MHz and up I get a frequency reading on the counter. I verified the Signal Generator is working with my spectrum analyzer.?
