I just order the band 0 amplifier, a working and tested unit from eBay located in NJ. When it arrives, I'll redo several test and see the behavoir of the unit before next movement or deal. I think the improvement will be juicy, because the low band signal is important to the SYTM to multiply and mix the final signal, if I understand the theory of operation.
Meanwhile I need to check the entry display connection, because the right vertical lines of all digits are off (maybe you saw this in the photos). Idk if it's a connection problem as it happened in my 8663A. Also I need to check why the main line voltage selector doesn't allow work with 230 VAC... maybe the contacts are dirty, I placed the cam properly and change the fuse and nothing works (not even the standby mode).?And the third task is straighten the lower front panel, bent because of crash during overseas travel. I will post photos of those side-tasks.
