(highly likely) or my choice of email client (Thunderbird) but what
then happens, if you select the email to read the email body text,
all the attachments promptly download themselves anyway and I can't
seem to see a setting in either the list or email client settings to
fix that?
Better by far to not attach vast images to an email in the first
place, if an image *is* needed - and I agree in some circumstances
they can replace a thousand words - then a few kB of jpeg/png is
fine for most things!
