Memories!? I still have two BP Microsystems EP-1 programers for the older chips and an ee-tools for the newer stuff.? Those EP-1's sure programed a lot eproms in their day.? PC BIOS, TAPR TNC's, repeater controller boards and nurse call floor map eproms were burned on those EP1's.? Saved us a lot of money!? I even turned my PC clone into a full-fledged IBM PC and did some hacking on the old Apple two and on the Mac.? Back in the day you had to have or borrow a programmer or you were crippled.? Lately I am updating some AEA pk-232 TNC's and a couple of Kantronics TNC'S to a useful version.? I miss the old stuff.? I like the functionality of the newer equipment but just try to repair it after a few years.? I can component level support 35 year old computer equipment better than 10 year old equipment. That stuff is mostly board swap or buy a new one.? ??.??
