Barry,

Have you tried McMaster Carr?

Good luck.

Subject: [HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment] Looking for small fiber washers

I'm in the process of repairing an Acton Labs VTVM. The RANGE switch was a Centralab model with steatite wafers and someone had broken the wafers - some of which were in pieces that made gluing them back together somewhat impractical. I have obtained glass-epoxy versions of those wafers and am reassembling the switch; however, the original damage was enough to destroy one of the tiny fiber washers that are used on the mounting strut assemblies.

Does anyone know where I could get one (or, maybe, a few) of those? I've searched the web and can't find them and the Electroswitch site (they bought Centralab) doesn't show them as available parts either. If you're familiar with them, they accommodate a #4 machine screw on the ID but the OD is very small as well and all I can find are "standard" #4 fiber washers which are too large.

I think these also are/were available in plastic or nylon and if there's a source for those, they would work as well.

Sorry for the long email for such a small request but I don't know anywhere else to look for these.

Thanks,
Barry - N4BUQ
