Hi all

?

Warning the 70900 a low / changing the battery ?will loose its program and a lot are not available ?

?

I will be soldering another battery in parallel on flying leads before removing the original

?

Before the present issues I was on the hunt for the original make as used by HP as they are considered the best

?

Also there are at lest 2 types used? ones with axial leads? at each ends?

The other without leads for the 70004 display

?

?

I guess I need to get a bunch then as I have 4 of the 5 and multiple instances of some. ?

I am thinking the 70206 probably has one also?

?I see Digi-Key has them but can¡¯t ship to Canada. :-(

Thanks

Off the top of my head, the following modules have batteries:

?

70004A Display

70100A Power Meter

70205A Display

70700A Digitizer (WARNING - disconnecting the battery causes program loss)

70900A/B LO

?

I think the optical spectrum analyzer modules have batteries too, but I've never looked inside one of those.

?

Lots of manuals are online here:?

Thanks,

Now that is ugly :-(
A question.
I am guessing that is the battery that is in the 70000 modules.
Does some one have a quick reference to where they are located and which modules have them?
I am thinking I should change out mine.
I have a good collection of modules.
Thanks
Dave
