My procedure on the 8566/8568 SA¡¯s (same key switches) was to to remove the front panel, then the keyboard, then use a swab with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) and rotate the swab on the metal spring - above and below the red plastic bridge that hold the spring in the switch, then repeat with DeOxit. Then exercise the switch, checking for
proper operation. This also allows you to check for missing springs, misaligned springs, rusty springs, and dirty springs. I never had repeat issues with these switches unless the operating environment was very dirty.
