Re: Homebrew spectral analyzer
Hello, Having finished my power supply, I return to my SimpleSA assembly. *I am at the same point as before and ask the same questions on the WIFI screen: * With version 11 I have an option in the

Re: Homebrew power supply
That looks nice.? How did you do the front panel lettering? Certainly beats the pencil scribble that I use for testing that somehow never gets replaced by a proper front panel.? I am afraid that

Re: Homebrew power supply
Hello, So, after several hours of work on the plate and assembly, I finally finished my power supply. 3 outputs? 5v, 12v? and a 0-25v variable with current limiter. Given the time spent on and the

Re: jFET oscillator on Specan
For what it's worth, I had some difficulty getting the oscillator to work. I started swapping out my jfets in sheer desperation and it started working suddenly! At this point I figured it was best to

If they are truly floating then keep the supply outputs that way.? Many power supplies have a binding post at earth e.g. attached to the chassis and supply ground so that the power outputs can have

Hello, Today I put the 3 integrated circuits. The power supply? works fine and I can adjust the output? supply through the potentiometer. I am limited to 25v max as my IC power supply design is

Homebrew power supply
Hello, Good morning, I kind of left out the spectrum analyzer. I had a little time, so I started making my lab supply. Everything starts with a cheap Kit (8€) and a recovery toric -transformer. The

Re: Homebrew spectral analyzer
It should be noted that you only need to modify the LO module, the other module is mixed to get around 433M IF reception, so there is no need to modify it.
Re: Homebrew spectral analyzer
yes,I haven't seen your screenshot in SAHi mode, so I'm not sure if you have a problem. and,a very accurate value may require careful debugging, but I simply replaced it with 50R,because I think it is
Re: Homebrew spectral analyzer
Hello Backberryer, Thank you for your answer. But that is still not clear enough for me. You said you replaced inductance with resistor. So concretely, it should be desoldered whatever the type of

Re: Homebrew spectral analyzer
The inductance I am talking about is RX, which is 33nh in the picture, because in SAHi mode, the signal goes directly to the LO for measurement

Hello, Very good job. If you roll up the messages a little, you will see that an inductance was not shunted on the modules SI4432. (At least on this model) On other equivalent modules, Gyula sent me
