Re: Quick and dirty GPSDO build by F2DC and me.
A 25 MHz tcxo may be a good idea then, I guess. Sverre La3za ons. 23. jun. 2021, 20:14 skrev Erik Kaashoek <erik@...>:

Re: Quick and dirty GPSDO build by F2DC and me.
The measurement time is adaptive based on the measured error. When the error is less than what can be observed in the measurement time the measurement time increases. With 400 seconds to count the
Re: Quick and dirty GPSDO build by F2DC and me.
This article <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_disciplined_oscillator> talks about potential problems with a 1PPS reference in GPSDO (GPS Disciplined Oscillator) circuits. If using 1PPS to stabilize

Re: Quick and dirty GPSDO build by F2DC and me.
I downloaded the PD0EK version of the F2DC software and have had it running for a while. I'm using it with the QLG-1 GPS from QRPLabs. What I find is that the measurement gate with time goes from ...

Re: A PCB for the W0SJ TDR
Gerry, I would, but unfortunately they are all spoken for. You can use the Gerber files to get boards made. I use JLCPCB. They are cheap and I've never had any problems with their work. -- John P.

Re: A PCB for the W0SJ TDR
I'm interested John. Would you ship to Ireland? Edit: there is no license in the repository. Do you have any particular license in mind? As it stands nobody can legally make use of the designs.

A PCB for the W0SJ TDR
In the May 2021 edition of QST Magazine, Stan Johnson (W0SJ) published an article describing a device one can hook to an oscilloscope to turn it into a time domain reflectometer (TDR). Stan built his

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments, I am thoroughly enjoying building something so seemingly simple but quite complicated when you get down to the details of it. I had a look at the QST

I am still getting what must be a loss of pps at the nano. ?I tried the original code from F2DC where this condition drives the error factor to extremes and it does not recover. Gary W9TD

Very cool project! Yeah, Nick, I remember that series and have a copy somewhere in my stack of stuff. Also that same year QST had another 8-part series by Doug Demaw called ¡°Learning to Work with

Re: Quick and dirty GPSDO build by F2DC and me.
Erik, I may have figured out why I was getting the skips in the 1pps. I did not have the TP5 configured, just the default on the TP. In TP5, you can have the pulse output continue during system
