Costa Rica Operations

I know he was down there at least twice more after the 2015 trip. Whether all the trips were at Las Villas del Guayabo or not I have no idea. I came across the below video shortly after it aired and I did some research on going down there, but other things took precedence. It is a beautiful country and we loved rambling about in it, even if we did have to make the concerted effort to "avoid all contact, including eye contact with Jane" Goodall. All the older expedition stuff from Chris seems to have vanished but I know Chris and some others were down there using TI7/homecalls several other years. Last was 2018 I think. ? This page also has all the info needed for customs and SUTEL as well as fillable forms to make it easy. ? Caveat: Guayabo is not near the beach but it is pretty high up on the NE side of the volcano. I don’t remember if that’s the one we climbed up to but couldn’t see the crater due to all the steam/fog/cloud. Nice country nonetheless. ? Mac

He’s a bit rough around the edges but does offer some good nuggets every so often.
