DXCC Entity Review

This is from Radio Amateurs of Canada, but we're all involved.? If you have a view on the subjects mentioned in the piece, please contact the ARRL DXCC Committee and share your views.
?
John Scott, VE1JS:
“The American Radio Relay League’s
(ARRL) DX Advisory Committee (DXAC)
has embarked on a comprehensive
review of the DXCC rules. This will
include many items which are of concern
to many DXers.
?
The first meeting was held on Thursday
December 12 via Zoom. At that meeting
members expressed their individual
concerns. These included: remote
operations; the “Radio in a box” system
with its possible legal problems; entities
that have been inactive for long periods
of time for various reasons; and entities
that no longer meet the criteria under
which they were added to the list. Some
of this is summed up on page 8 of the
November QST by the ARRL Chief
Executive Officer David Minster, NA2AA.
Future meetings will each focus on one
of the items of concern. We will be
meeting about once every three weeks
at least until Hamvention happens in
May. The next meeting is scheduled for
January 9.
?
In order to be certain that your views are
presented to the committee, I need to
hear from you. Please tell me what
concerns you about the present DXCC
rules and what changes might be made.
If I get the kind of response I would like,
I will likely not have time to reply to all of
them. However, I will read them all and
reply to as many as possible.
