I worked on MVT and then went straight to MVS - never in my life used
an SVS system. So I've never thought about how TSO worked in the large
single address space. I imagine it still had SWAP dataset(s), but did
it really swap from/to *virtual* storage, with effectively double
paging? Or was it the norm to make the TSO region(s) run V=R? Or
something else I'm not thinking of...?
