Re: TK4- On a Raspberry Pi
Hi Scott, given the lack of reliability of SD cards when dealing with lots of IO activity/filesystem writes, I¡¯d recommend the use of an USB 3.0 attached disk to you. Even though a PI4 cannot

Of course, the absolute paths in this simple example must be adjusted to the individual environment. Given the circumstances, I¡¯ve just did a simple copy and paste.

Oh excuse me, this has been already posted earlier I supposed. Here is what I used: ./configure --enable-optimization="-O3 -frename-registers -mhard-float -pipe -mlittle-endian -munaligned-access

Re: TK4- On a Raspberry Pi
Michael, And what exactly would "the proper compile options" be, for an RPi4? (Without that kind of information, your post is just not very helpful... Just saying ...) Mark S. Waterbury

Choosing the proper compile options make a huge difference, especially for the PI4, I daresay. Kind regards Michael

Hi Ed, Can you share with us the link you found with clear instructions?? I am reluctant to buy a Pi until I know there are reliable instructions to follow! Also, what is the "best" website to order

Re: TK4- On a Raspberry Pi
"well" is relative. Doing a sysgen from scratch on a zero was a multiday process that never completed; I finally did the gen on an Intel system, and moved my DASD over to the PI. It was ok. As I

Re: 20,000 Card Deck Crashes MVT HASP Initiator
Ignore that. looks like the fortran compiler is dying first, which is taking out the initiator. I seem to recall trouble with losing initiators when whatever they were running abended. listen to Vince

Re: 20,000 Card Deck Crashes MVT HASP Initiator
maketape should work. Try it. Adding more region to a HASP initiator may help, but then we would need to figger out how to do that there thing. Where did you find an old copy of the SPICE source code?

20,000 Card Deck Crashes MVT HASP Initiator
I created an OS/360 MVT using Jay Maynard's instructions at http://www.conmicro.com/hercos360 It worked, and will run simple assembler and FORTRAN jobs. Then I tried to run a 20,000 line FORTRAN
