Hi Jay,
first of all, my apologies for kind of cross posting the problem also to the hercules group. I was not sure if the problem was related to MVS (aka "SYS1.DUMP FULL") or Hercules itself. Now that I transferred the dasd directory as a zip archive instead of each dasd image individually via scp (with wildcard) everything went back to normal.?
