Re: VTAM

Hi

I am trying to have a talk with the responsibles of the library who have these manuals stored in Madrid (I am in Barcelona).

Maybe I could receive these manuals for a week and to see a way to bring to you its contents.

Rob,

Nice to see another old-timer systems programmer on the list.

Good luck on your project. MVS/TK5 is a real treat.

Hi, I am new to this group so here's a brief introduction: I am an ex-IBM Mainframe systems programmer. It has been a very long time since I worked with MVS but I recently installed MVS-TK5 and I am now trying to get my old (SNA) network test program working. Just curious if there is anybody out here who has a copy of one of the following manuals:

- GX27-0031 Vtam Control Block Overview

- GX27-0034 Vtam Reference Summary

- GC27-0023 Vtam Debugging Guide

- GC27-0027 Vtam Network Operating Procedures

I have been searching on the internet but could not find any of the previously mentioned manuals.
My network test program was written for ACF/VTAM and MVS/XA and I am now trying to downgrade to VTAM and MVS/SP so it will run on MVS-TK5.
