since "asking" is always faster than "searching" (chatGPT notwithstanding) here is my question, with some background before.
I have been using a customized version of TK4- for some time.? I added a couple of users and a personal DASD volume following the instructions found floating around (thank you all; you know who you are); I also added a reader to my setup.
Now I want to "upgrade" to TK5.
I presume that the datasets on my DASD will require the user I added to be present in the system: is that so? (Of course, I could access the contents with HERC01).
What is the best course of action to follow to replicate my TK4- setup on TK5?? Do I just add the user first and then the personal DASD/volume?
