I have updated my Linux distro from
Mageia v8 to v9 and helper fails badly during the build.
Even the TK5-v2 has its problems.
Most annoying.

I'm not a Linux OSS developer and don't best know distributor
practices, but I am a fan of being to able install from a dist
maintained binary. The problem is that most distributions have
only Hercules Spinhawk, not Hercules Hyperion, and of course
even if it is the right branch, they don't update often enough.
If you're need to build yourself, I have found
to be a blessing.? (And Bill has been responsive, even when I've
been grumpy.)
