Re: Abend codes

They are also in the POPS but typically under each instruction to indicate what errors could be signalled

Where can I find a list of abend codes and what they mean? (I'm not an MVS person!)

I am seeing in a MVT log someone sent me a "0C7" abend code. What does that mean?

I seem to recall that the last digit ('7' in this case) is the Program Interruption code? Yes?

Thus:

0C1 is an Operation Exception (Yes?)
0C4 is a Protection Exception (Yes?)
0C7 is a Data Exception (Yes?)

Does anyone have a web page or a document somewhere that lists these abend codes?

Or am I correct in that only the last digit is important, being the Program-Interruption code.

What if the Program-Interruption code is greater than hex 10? Such as a Special-operation Exception? (code X'0013') or an Operand Exception? (code X'0015') What would the abend code look like for those?

Help!? :(
