Oh and perhaps also as on the CCTECH list. Lots of people with card readers there.

Ted,
A few people still have real card readers.
There are some folks on the IBM1130 list that can do this.
I am sure Dave McGuire (I hope I have spelt that properly) who has a small
museum in Pittsburgh can read cards
and CHM in San Francisco has a reader on the IBM 1401 that can read to
emulated tapes that can be transferred
as for an ISPF like editor then "The Thomas Hessling" editor
has an ISPF compatibility mode. There are also a couple of ISPF "look a likes"
for MVS/380 but as I never was an ISPF user I can't comment.
If you want to try the Turnkey MVS (TK4-) one is installed there...

Try for a PC editor.
If not give Hercules MVS 3.8 Turnkey TK4- a shot. Requires an
additional
x3270 emulator download.

I have a box of cards containing a S/370 assembler program I wrote

didn't know about it).
It's a half-smart file copy that has the added advantage of
appending a
calendar to the output file. The calendar can be any base from 2 to 16.
Print a base-9 or base-11 calendar; it "looks" normal, but on
examination,
strange.
It supports horizontal and vertical hex dumps, with and without
displaying
the characters.
I'm not above entering the cards by hand...
Is there an ISPF-like editor that implements tab stops at columns
10, 16, 31,
72?
I cannot compile Hybrid Editor XE on my Manjaro ARM Raspberry Pi 4B.
Does anyone know of a method that's easier?
Is there a better way to do this?
