Hi Jay! No, AFAIK this is the correct place to ask such questions. In fact, AFAIK it's the *only* place to ask such questions!
Do you have the URL for this web page of Steve's? I don't remember ever seeing it. I'd like to give his procedure a try myself to see whether the same problem occurs for me too.
Also, I take it you DO know how to deal with ("recover" from) such a problem since you didn't ask, that all you're really interested in is whether the error should be considered expected or not, yes?
I can't tell you how good it is to see you active in Hercules again! :)
