Special Notice

 

Dear helper,
?
I cannot find where/how to send a Special Notice email. ?I have been sending my weekly newsletter as a Special Notice for years but a few weeks ago I dont seem to be able to do this any more?
?
Has this option been removed? ?If not can you please advise me as to where I go to find it again.

The option has not been removed. You will find an option to send a Special Notice below the message composition window:

Or you can use a hashtag that has the the Special Notice attribute selected:
?
?
?
If you are not seeing the option below the message composition window then check that you are logged in with an account that has permissions to send Special Notices. Look for the Owner or Mod badge next to the Home icon on the left side menu:

You can leave the group or change your subscription settings to something that's more acceptable to you such as No Email.

I recommend that you first try out the Digest option in your group’s profile.? Subscription – Settings and then select from the Email Delivery Options.? Digest reduces the number of messages you see your Inbox from the group.

There are lots of options.? Check about setting your subscription settings, as well as those you can change via email.

They can be browsed online or downloaded as PDF files.
 

Many thanks Andy.? I didn’t give a thought to being signed in with the wrong ID.? No wonder I’ve been having so much trouble.

Such a simple solution to so much stress.? A lesson I will not forget I hope ?
