BOUNCING EMAILS

开云体育

I have received three emails recently from groups.io informing me that my emails are bouncing.? I pressed the link each time to unbounce them, but it keeps happening.

The people in one of the groups I belong to, many of whom are pretty tech savvy, can’t tell me why it is happening, and I am the manager of the other group, and the members certainly wouldn’t have a clue.? Any advice please.

Go to /settings/bounces and tell us what it says.

I did and they all said Contains spam material, which they don't.

Note that it is blueyonder reporting that to groups.io, it is not groups.io deciding they contain spam.

It would be nice to know what the log entries actually said, verbatim - but it sounds like the missing messages were indeed sent to you, and with all good intentions.

You can try adding the affected groups.io source addresses to your contacts list, or whitelist the groups.io domain. That might help overcome this delivery problem.?
?
If you try all this, and your email provider persists in refusing to deliver them, then ultimately you will have to hold them accountable. You are, after all, paying them to deliver emails to you.?

Starting about a week ago, this started happening to me, too. Some group message digests to my Gmail account have been "bouncing." Please see the screen shot at:
?
Each entry has a form that is more or less identical:

This causes me to miss some digests -- but not all -- as well as need to periodically "unbounce" my groups.io account. This is a new behavior; I've been a member of that group for over half a year, but this only just started very recently.
?
I couldn't find any info about what causes this or how to address it. The sending email address of the group is already added to my contacts in an attempt to "whitelist" the digest emails, but it does not help. Aside from that, there does not appear to be a way to whitelist a sender with Gmail.

Oh, great.? This happened to me a year or so ago, when Earthlink (which manages my domain mindspring.com) started using a spam blocker (from something called vadesecure).? For several weeks I couldn’t get any emails that I sent to my groups.io groups.? I am very grateful to whoever in the help groups yelled at Earthlink until they quit doing rejecting groups.io.? Someone will have to take this up with Gmail. ?Have my list subscribers are on Gmail, so I’ll probably hear about this soon.

The cause is contained in the error message : Gmail has detected that this message is likely unsolicited mail.
?
You'd have to get Gmail to resolve the problem.? It could be a recent change they made that created the situation.
