You may sometimes notice that what was saved isn't what you remember having.? This can happen if there's internet congestion or your connection has a glitch.? Nothing that can be done about it, but

So drafts is under "more" way down the bottom of the page. Apparently, each draft has a checkbox where you can pick ones to delete. I learned something new today! Thanks for the help! And drafts do

They replied via email.
Many email clients fail to honor the group reply-to setting, but the web interface will... every time.

Are you sure other subscribers are really able to reply to the group? Are the posts you're receiving from them actually replies, or new topics (there's a difference)?
