66.175.222.12That's the email server for Groups.io? It looks like the MagicSpam being used by the site you're sending the invitations to needs to be updated.? Most of the other filters have learned that Groups.io is a reputable service, but there are bumps now and then.? There's nothing Groups.io can do about it, other than maintain their reputation.? You (or the recipient) will need to contact that service to correct the problem. 开云体育Earlier today I had to whitelist that IP and sender domain in my server's MagicSpam settings. It appears to have become blacklisted around: 10:55pm BST = 2:55pm PST I think? ? Roger Colwell ? From: [email protected] On Behalf Of Ted Sarah

One thing to keep in mind that a lot of people currently being migrated from Yahoo Groups no doubt "didn't get the message" and will be blindsided by notifications coming from groups.io stating that they've been transferred here. If a bunch of them start flagging such notices as spam then it stands to reason that might adversely affect the reputation of the service.
I'm not trying to downplay the impact such a thing can have, only to suggest that such glitches should probably be expected; and can similarly be expected to resolve themselves after this massive influx of newbies subsides. Hope this helps, Bruce |

开云体育The most reputable way, for my opinion to check if a IP Address is compromised is the senderbase system that cisco has formed some years ago. This system dosn't check the emails itself, instead it collects traficdata from a huge lot of cisco switches. Here you can see the good reputation of the emailserver that belongs to groups.io as far as I know. Also spamhaus.org is a good place to check. This is a service
based in germany. They use honeypot technlogy and real
emailservers to build up their database. That works very reliable. All the Best, Isidro

I wonder if systems like senderbase would raise the flag because of the
number of dead accounts that were in the Yahoo system all bouncing when groups.io tries to send the welcome message? Since many (older) spambots used massive lists, that have much out of date, they might think the work of those messages would look very similar. -Ken Cameron, Member JMRI Dev Team www.jmri.org www.fingerlakeslivesteamers.org www.cnymod.org www.syracusemodelrr.org |
