I am back at iogroups as of tomorrow. I am hoping this will go well. I cant seem to find how to delete attachments? There use to be a list some where and you can click the box and say delete?
Also if my memory gets close to the limit I did check the box to delete attachments is that right and will you do that? Thanks for any help. I just cant find attachments and how to delete them. Anita? |
Anita, > I cant seem to find how to delete attachments? If you edit the message you can delete the attachments. > There use to be a list some where and you can click the box and say > delete? I think you're thinking of Yahoo Groups. > Also if my memory gets close to the limit I did check the box to > delete attachments is that right and will you do that? It's right if that's what you want Groups.io to do. The other choice, rejecting messages with attachments, isn't very attractive but it does leave you with explicit control of what to delete, if anything, to make room for new content. Shal |
Anita,
My members like to send graphics so wanted to see how I can deleteFor emailed images, as opposed to other types of file attachments, you can see and delete them in the "Emailed Photos" album of your group's Photos section. But individually, not as a list with checkboxes. Not long ago I went to iogroups here and saw a list of attachments andSeems like a feature that ought to exist. At the very least, the Filter on messages ought to have "has attachments" as one of the options. Shal |
Anita,
Not long ago I went to iogroups here and saw a list of attachments andI wrote: "Seems like a feature that ought to exist." In another topic Duane wrote: "If you can get to the Upgrade page under the Admin menu, you will see how much space is being used for each type that counts against the limit, plus the number of Integrations used. Beside the Attachments line, there's a link to View Attachments, if any." /g/GroupManagersForum/message/3542 So it does exist! Thanks Duane, I hadn't noticed or had forgotten that. That's convenient, in the sense that you probably want to know how much space they're consuming and how close to the quota you are before you go looking to delete them, but it is evidently not an obvious place to look. I still think a "has attachments" filter in the Messages list would be more obvious. Shal |
