Moderators Unable to Approve Members and Messages
I have a new group with two moderators. Both of them are unable to approve members and messages. They do receive notification e-mails that a member or message must be approved. However, when they click on the e-mail's link for "View Pending Member" or "View this message online," they are shown a page that says "You do not have permission to access that page." (They are logged in at the time.)
Also, on the web interface they only see one option (Activity) under Admin. (Regular users see none and moderators should see all, including Members, etc.) Any help is appreciated. Ron |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi. What permissions have you set for them? If you are the owner, then I would suggest you go in and check what permissions you Have set. It may be that you have given them the wrong permissions, so that is why they can¡¯t see the
page. Hope this helps.
Thanks.
From Michael.

Thanks, Michael.
Sorry to be dense, but where are permissions set, if they are different from Roles? I have both moderators set to that Role. Other than that, I don't see any place to set specific permissions in their Membership. In the group's Privacy settings, I have the Member Directory set to "Moderators and Owners." For all other options on the Settings page, I also have "Moderators and Owners" specified, although I don't think those options have any relevance to approving/modifying members and messages. Ron |
