Dual email addresses

 

My boat owner Group has a number of 'subscribers' who would like to have 2 email addresses included so they both get any Posts. ?I don¡¯t want to have two separate subscribers for one boat. ?Is there a way??

No, each account can only receive messages at one address.? You can have multiple addresses (aliases) for sending replies/messages.

Hey Tim,

Extending what Duane wrote above, if you have users who'd like to have the email sent to additional accounts, have them set up an email rule on their email client (e.g. Outlook, GMail, etc.).? The rule would also forward group.io email to one or more accounts.

--I'm not too tech savvy, but my tried and true solution to get my YG posts sent to two different email addresses was to set up an automatic forward in my email. I set up an automatic forward? that applied to all YG messages received in my YG email address. You just have to be careful to only reply or post from the primary email account (or webpage), or else they will be returned as undeliverable.

Members can have an alias to send emails from. There is no email received at the other secondary address.

The user can aslo add the second email address as an email alias at his settings page. Then they can aslo post from this address.

[Mod Note: While this is true, group messages will not be received there. The only way to receive group messages at a given address without forwarding is to subscribe it.]

So, unlike Yahoo, in we can send emails from both primary and secondary addresses, but group emails are only delivered to the primary email address. Do I have that right?
