Question About Advertising

Pam

Hello All!

I think I remember someone on this list mentioning newsletters or groups that you can advertise your own groups in? Is that at all accurate? And if so, can anyone point me in the right direction of these groups?

Thanks so much!

Pam? :)

Was this question ever answered? I was wondering too, but haven't seen a response.

One might expect such groups to be easy to find.

At least a couple are (among other results):

I just tried this out of interest. On the first page I found two or three such
groups with just one member and no topics, and one which would not allow
adverts from very small groups.

Perhaps more significantly, when I tried to go to the second of the stated 16
pages of results, the system would not let me do so. Mouse over any part of
page change bit at bottom right displeyed the circle with diagonal line
through, and clicking anyway merely reloaded the same page. I tried it with two
browsers (Firefox and Opera) with the same result in case it was browser
specific. This seems like a bug. Anyone else finding this or is it just me?

/search?q=advertise NOT "not advertise"

Um, no. That was 16 results, not 16 pages of them.

Thanks Shal,

Reassuring that it's not a bug, but the presentation is misleading. The chevron
to the right of the number looks like an invitation to click to go to the next
page. The word "results" next to the number would make it clearer.
