Re: link to subscribe
Peter, you are right. I suggested she log in with a private window or incognito to test this.
However you do have to scroll down the page to see the Join button.

Re: link to subscribe
Frances, I don't think your response is correct. What Linda described is exactly what happens when a logged-in group member attempts to go to the join link. The screen flashes for a moment and then

Re: link to subscribe
When I click on the link, I see a link to join at the end of the page - but it is way "below the fold".
You might want to reduce the background colour of your homepage image, and ?put some of your

Re: Owner can't reply to messages
Two possibilities:
-- Your account is bouncing and you haven't unbounced it yet.
-- You're in a subgroup of a group you own but haven't made yourself a member [of the subgroup] yet.
Hope this

You can change your language preference at /settings/prefs
At this time there are only 11 options.
Note this is an account setting, not a group setting.

Re: Owner can't reply to messages
I think that Duane assumed you had a special moderators group.
If you are seeing lock topics menu, etc. perhaps you are using the down arrow below a message.
Or perhaps you are have set a lock topic

I do not understand Duane's suggestion, to log out as admin and log in as
member.
I administer my groups with the same address I use as a member to send

OR handle other people's messages, the

Good afternoon,
Are there any developments regarding this future request? Is it possible to change/translate the emails generated by the system into other languages?
Thank you.

Re: Opting OUT of a new Subgroup - can it be done?
Dan,
If I interpreted your message correctly, I think the reason you're having problems with this is that you think the users have to *opt out* of the subgroup, they don't (normally). They have to

Re: Opting OUT of a new Subgroup - can it be done?
Why don't you edit the invitation message to say this?
Go to Admin, Preferences, Notices in the subgroup and create and save an invite

I'm flummoxed with this one. I want to find a way to be able to create a new Subgroup and send the Invite to all members of the Group. But I want to make it clear and easy for anyone NOT INTERESTED in

Re: change made from outside of group?
You'd have to ask the person who's address was changed.? They probably requested that a group admin change it for them, possibly not realizing that it would change for all groups they belong

Re: change made from outside of group?
Group members can change their own email address. And if the group member belongs to more than one group, it automatically changes the email address in other groups too.
