It's not "ownerless".? I'm still getting owner e-mail and messages sent to the "owner" address.
Problem is, I'm not shown as "owner" when I log into that group, and don't have "owner" or "moderator"

Facts in evidence:
1. I own four groups.
2. All groups use the same e-mail for my log in.
3. Two of the four still show "Owner" when selected, proving I'm logged in with the correct e-mail.
4. One

No, I don't have a second e-mail address registered as an owner.

Have you checked whether or not you have a second email address registered?
if you are receiving owner emails, you must be an owner or moderator of that group.
