Thinking about moving my groups from Yahoo over here, but have some questions
(1)? Are there any "gotchas" like this ends up being a paid service??
(2) If there are paid levels, what do I get for free?
(3) Can I merge two Yahoo groups into one groupio group?

Re: How to recover a lost or abandoned Yahoo Group and transfer it to Groups.io
Harry,
At this time I don't think so. Unless you can find an active moderator of the Y!Group with at least the privilege to "Add, remove, and change moderator privileges" it would require the help of

Re: Approving new members - and NOT!
Marcia,

Re: Question About Transferring a Large Yahoo Groups List
#transfer
It is very valuable to set the groups.io group up and play with it with just 2 or 3 people to get used to it and learn how it works. Then have the transfer done.
Patty, how often do? your members

Patty,
Heh. Well here you may need some tact. Or a Jedi mind trick.
The transfer agent is also the owner of the product. So asking him to break your Y!Group archive into multiple Free Groups.io

Hi
You said: ¡°(my list members would most likely not be inclined to pay to join, in order to cover the cost of the Premium level group.¡±
I guess you realize that the premium cost is per group,

Kudos on Color
One of the things that is a total delight is the color palette that is used for hashtags, etc. It is such a relief from the horrible pastels that google stuff, spreadsheet programs, etc. make

Question About Transferring a Large Yahoo Groups List
#transfer
Well, I think it's probably about time for me to seriously consider transferring my large Yahoo Groups over to Groups.IO. My one group has not had any Photos functionality now for about 6 weeks.?
