My guess is that your group may have run out of storage space. See?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/7137?for details.

I wasn¡¯t including in a message, just uploading a file to Files.?
Sorry...you sent me in the other direction when you said your browser "opened the file instead of attaching it."

You cannot drag-and-drop something into the online message editor if it's a file your browser can render (typically this applies to photos and PDF files). You must click on either the "add attachments" or the "add pictures" icon (adjacent to each other on the toolbar).

I have not experienced any problems with the file upload dialog at that point. Are you using the web interface or the app?

This appears to be the same problem you had 4 years ago.? The that to happen, so it's most certainly your browser, most likely a plug-in or extension that you've added.

I am not sure how their email address is replaced with yours. The instructions say:

Making a member an owner or moderator

In the left menu on the group¡¯s website, select Admin > Members. The Members page appears.

Locate the row of the member you want to make an owner or moderator, and click in that row (anywhere except the checkbox) to display their individual membership page.

In the Role list, select the role you want to assign to that member, Moderator or Owner. When additional panels appear on the page, select the permissions you want to give to that person.....

Not sure, but to deal with your current predicament, ?I would think you should back out of the member's record without making changes.

The spammers/scammers are beginning to learn.? Normally they don't reply at all, but obviously did in this case.? This type of thing isn't all that unusual, but the system is trying to take care of us.? 30 minutes or less is a pretty good success rate.

Doris Berg / bibakalarai111 fake account?

We had another strange occurrence today.
We received a subscription request from [email redacted]
The notification stated:
They accessed the web from: Windows Chrome 120 - Windscribe Limited: Kent, Washington US (104.129.57.157) VPN: WINDSCRIBE_VPN, Concentration: Port Angeles, Washington US

The same account replied as "Doris Berg" to our pending member notice. The message text simply was: "bibakalarai111".

When I checked my group Activity, I saw that the account had been banned from Groups.io. It all happened in less than 30 minutes.

Has anyone been contacted by the same account?

Marina

Sounds like a bug of some kind. I would report it to the beta group at .

I suspect Mark (groups.io owner) would be very motivated to fix this one. :)

Exactly where does it fail? "It does not work" is kinda hard to troubleshoot.

I do understand that you're not at their computer and may have difficulty describing what they might be seeing. But without that information it's even harder for us.

I should also mention that only Premium/Enterprise groups can request a donation. If you're on the Basic plan, you can only do Sponsorships. They are not the same thing.

Re: Database

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Just to let you know what I figured out on my problem, which was some of the links in the database list were black to my members so they couldn't get into the tables.
?What I found I had done was that under Permissions in the table, I had View Table as Moderators and the Table Owner.
Simple error.? For some reason I thought they could see the window I see when setting up the table but that is not the case.

As a troubleshooting tool, why not add a regular user to the group but be an email of yours?? Then you can have another browser open logged in with the other regular-user account and you can see what regular users see (or don't see).

Cheers,
Christos
