ken, Oops. That's a roadblock alright. Groups.io needs moderator-level access to copy all the necessary information. Just as a fallback I'd suggest getting PG Offline and downloading your Y!Group's

sugar, That setting is for primary groups, and yes you should set that whichever way makes sense for your group. I imagine most groups would want to limit subgroup creation to moderators

sugar, Yes, if you have the "Manage Subgroups" permission. If you do you will see a button for Subgroups within the Admin expander in the left margin. It is near the bottom, just above the Activity

If you create the database first, you could include a link to it in the event description. I'm not sure if there are 'locks' in place in case two people try to add or edit at the same time though.
