You can kinda accomplish this with hashtags. Create a hashtag with the name of your choice. Click the "use by Mods only" box and set Topic Duration to one hour (or one day, or whatever appeals to you).?
After that time period each post with that hashtag will be deleted from the message archive...however, it will delete it for
everybody, including the Moderators. Like Shal, I know of no way to keep it on the site while hiding it from the other subscribers.
You also have to remember to insert the hashtag every time. This can be enforced as follows:? Go to Admin->Settings->Message Policies and click on both "Require Hashtags" and "Only Moderators Can Create Hashtags." If you only have one hashtag established, then it's the only one that will be used.
