I am a member of the group in question and can
confirm that it is one of the very very rare ? compliant groups.
Unless every email is moderated, occasionally something can get
through.? How often does it occur?? A couple of times a year and
members are immediately told to delete the content and the email
and content are also deleted from the group home.
Obviously the group owner needs to have more information from Mark
Fletcher (which I am sure she will be requesting) as to who and
what was reported.?
Please don't assume that the group is definitely in the wrong.? ?
compliance has always been taken very seriously.

This statement...

seems to be at odds with this one...
As you know, we can't catch everything, but we try
very hard.
Either you are always compliant or you are not, despite how hard
you try.
? My first thought is this Spam. The 2nd if not, what are you
accusing us of.
I don't see this as spam and the 'accusation' is quite clear.?
Despite how hard you say you try, your group is seen as
distributing copyright material.
I pay? 30 a month and have been for years to be in the group
and we are copyright compliant. If we receive something in our
groups that is not,
we let them know and the group also to delete.?
It's possible Mark has received some form of 'DCMA Takedown
Request' and has to take action or maybe someone else reported
your group and he decided to. Regardless of how long your group
has existed, I doubt your '30 a month' would go very far in any
legal dispute so this is protecting the reputation of Groups.io.
Please let me know as soon as possible
If you have any further queries on this, I'd recommend that you
contact Mark at [email protected] as he is the
only person with the power to disable your group.? The Groups.io ToS are quite clear
though in terms of what someone would need to do in order to
submit an official copyright complaint and what you would need to
do to submit a Counter-Notice.
