I agree that this Yahoo is useful, but right now I'm doing something similar by making all new member's first posts moderated.? And I changed the "Welcome" statement by asking them what the letters RGS stand for, as only true fans of this will know the answer.? Not perfect, but better than nothing.
I would much prefer to get this message to the new applicant BEFORE he joins the group, not after.??
