I’ve just joined here, thanks for the link Shal.

I have just taken over as owner of a group set up by a friend last year as a trial and am carefully finding my way around it.

I have a couple of questions please...

1... I want to “vet” pending members before I approve their membership. From looking in the archives, it seems that I can’t have a message sent automatically and I would have to do it by emailing them personally myself... is this correct?

2... Most of my prospective members will opt for receiving the group messages in to their email client, but a couple may want to choose to read on the group page on occasions. Is there any way to take off the “conversation” mode and have each message just displayed in the list, not lumped together like this?

That is very helpful here, but hardly any messages in my group will have a thread.
