It was moved to my spam folder as expected, but the subscription remained in Pending status, waiting to be approved by an Owner/Mod. I did the same thing with the subsequent Welcome Notice and a message I sent to myself from the +owner address...with the same result. Generally speaking, it seems that the FBL/unsub mechanism applies only to regular group messages, not notifications. If anyone has a contrary example please share.
