Maybe I am missing something, but I don't understand why there aren't
many complaints about moderated messages being edited without
notifying the OP.
For Y!Group refugees that's par for the course.
On the other hand, Y!G does put fields in the message header to reveal approval and edit. I suggested in beta that Groups.io do likewise but the idea wasn't liked by owners who were afraid it would cause members to single out particular mods for their ire. It wasn't acted on.
On the other hand, I very much appreciate the moderator's notes on
this group when moderation has included editing.
I got into that habit long ago, at the example of a more senior mod. And I generally approve of transparency. So, "you're welcome".
